Nostalgia Cinema: A Different Kind of Gathering for Mothers
At Pardis Solaleh Kindergarten, we sometimes turn to the memories and atmosphere of the past to create unique and meaningful experiences—experiences that not only create a warm and welcoming environment but also provide opportunities for conversation, empathy, and discovering different perspectives. With this in mind, a special event called “Nostalgia Cinema” was held for mothers—a gathering inspired by the atmosphere of classic cinemas, where mothers spent a few hours together watching a film and engaging in thoughtful conversation about it.
The event space was designed with the atmosphere of old-fashioned cinemas in mind, allowing mothers to step away from their everyday routines for a few hours and enjoy a different experience together. Recreating the feeling of the past and the nostalgic atmosphere of traditional cinemas provided the perfect setting for a warm and intimate gathering—one where memories, cinema, and conversation came together.
The main part of the program featured a screening of the film “I Am His Mother” (Man Madar Hastam). The choice of this film provided an opportunity for a meaningful discussion around human and family-related themes. Following the screening, the mothers came together to discuss, critique, and analyze the film.
